With 17 years of educational experience, including 7 years in administration, I am passionate about fostering a culture of success, community, and collaboration.

I earned my Associate’s Degree in AutoCAD from the University of New Mexico and continued my education there, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. My journey in education began in the classroom at Belen Middle School, where I taught 7th and 8th-grade math and algebra. I then expanded my expertise by joining Los Lunas Middle School, teaching 7th-grade math and science. From there, I transitioned into leadership roles, serving as an assistant principal at Raymond Gabaldon Elementary and Los Lunas Middle School, as well as an instructional coach. Today, I am proud to serve as the assistant principal of Katherine Gallegos Elementary.

I am deeply committed to supporting students, staff, and parents while building a strong and inclusive community. My dedication is rooted in the belief that every child can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and environment.

Beyond my career, family is my greatest blessing. I am proud mother to three wonderful children and a GiGi to two beautiful grandsons. My faith plays a central role in my life, and it inspires my commitment to serve others with care and integrity.
